DS Founder and Director will host a press conference and book launch in Geneva on Wednesday 14 October 2015 to announce the publication of Repairing Domestic Climate Displacement: The Peninsula Principles, as well as to publicly outline DS’ demands to the international community in the lead up to the Paris climate change talks to take the rights of people and communities displaced because of the effects of climate change far more seriously than they have to date. He will give his views on the highly unfortunate removal of any reference to climate displacement within the negotiating drafts for Paris just released on 5 October, as well as suggesting concrete ways by which climate displacement can be resolved with a focus on land-based solutions based on the ten years of experience gained by DS in working with climate displaced communities the world over.
