DS addresses the closing meeting of the Nansen Initiative

DS participated actively in the closing meetings of the Nansen Initiative on Disaster-Induced Cross-Border Displacement held in Geneva from 12-13 October 2015. The meeting signalled the end of this phase of the Nansen Initiative after three years of work on the development of a non-binding Protection Agenda which was approved at the Geneva gathering. DS Director Scott Leckie and Nansen Initiative Consultative Committee member presented a short statement to the 300 government, UN and civil society delegates present and can be accessed here.
