DS associate Prof. Emeritus Anthony Oliver-Smith will give the Annual Homecoming Guest Lecture for Colorado State University’s Department of Anthropology on October 16. Dr Oliver-Smith was part of DS’s recent mission to the indigenous territories of the Guna Yala peoples in Panama, and will give an address on the challenges and strategies of resettlement in communities displaced due to environmental changes.
