DS is dismayed at the systematic removal of all climate displacement provisions in the draft climate treaty just weeks before the treaty is considered in Paris, in an article just published by the Guardian. DS has received countless calls and emails from our partners across the globe who are already struggling with climate displacement worried that they again will be forgotten by the world. We will keep advocating for the return of climate displacement issues in the treaty in our discussions with governments in the coming months, but our hopes for a truly positive Paris treaty are waning quickly.
